- Pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Fever;
- Taking antibiotics from the tetracycline group and fluoroquinolones,
- Bacterial or viral infection (such as active herpes),
- Taking oral retinoids – in order to perform the procedure, 6 months must have passed since the end of treatment,
- Use of retinol ointment (topical retinoids) on the treatment site – a month must pass after treatment to perform the procedure;
- Photosensitizing drugs, photosensitizing herbs such as St. John’s wort or calendula;
- Injection in the treatment area;
- Alcohol (consumed 24 hours before the scheduled treatment);
- Vaccinations (wait two weeks after injection).
Permanent contraindications:
- Epilepsy;
- Diabetes;
- Cancer diseases;
- Ischemic heart disease;
- Blood clotting disorders;
- Viral hepatitis;
- Autoimmune diseases such as lupus, scleroderma, vitiligo, psoriasis;
- Dermatological diseases of the skin, such as photodermatosis, hyperpigmentation tendencies,
- Metal implants;
- Pacemaker;
- Varicose veins (at the treatment site);
- Hyaluronic acid injections, implants (at the site of the treatment);
- Pigmented nevi (congenital and acquired located at the treatment site);
- Tattoos (at the treatment site);
- The tendency to scarring and keloids.

How do I prepare for a laser hair removal procedure?
Do not tan the area to be treated two weeks before the scheduled treatment. Remember to refrain from drinking alcohol for a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled treatment. On the day of the treatment, wash your skin thoroughly. Do not use cosmetics such as scrubs, lotions, oils, body butters, perfumes or deodorants.
If you plan to perform the treatment in the afternoon or evening, you should shave the body part that will undergo laser hair removal on the morning of that day. If your treatment is scheduled in the morning, do so in the evening the day before. Remember to leave a small unshaved area (about 1 cm²) when shaving before the first hair removal. This will help in assessing the color and thickness of the hair.

How do I prepare for my first waxing?
The hair must be between 0.5 and 1 cm long for successful hair removal. The hair reaches this length after about 14 days after the last shave. You can safely trim hair longer than 1 cm with scissors. Before waxing, perform a scrub – this will exfoliate the epidermis, and the hair will lift and be easier to remove. Do not lubricate your skin with oils, greasy lotions or creams on the day of waxing, as the wax will be difficult to adhere to the hair. Do not use saunas and tanning beds.
